The Morbihan department takes its name from the Breton words ‘Mor Bihon’ meaning small sea. Théhillac is ideally placed for exploring not only the Morbihan region but also the neighbouring region of the Loire Atlantique.

Le Guerno and its botanical and wildlife park called the Parc de Branféré. Le Guerno is situated 19 Miles from Théhillac.

Lizio. Petite Cité de Caractère distanced 50 miles from Théhillac.

Malestroit. Petite Cité de Caractère famous for its houses and church covered with unusual carvings in the main square. The town was a thousand years old in 1987. Malestroit is 32 miles from Théhillac.

Parc Naturel Régional de Brière. The Brière Region National Park is France’s second most important marshland area after the Camargue. Must see sights are the Château de Ranrouët at Herbignac and the village of Kerhinet at Saint-Lyphard. Herbignac is 15 miles from Théhillac.

Pénestin along with its 25 kilometers of coast and most notably the golden cliffs of the Mine d’Or classified tourism site. The beach at the Mine d’Or is just 20 miles from Théhillac.

Rochefort-en-Terre. Deserved reputation as one of the most picturesque villages in Brittany. The town is just 18 miles from Théhillac.
