Where is the nearest beach?

The nearest beach is approximately 30 minutes drive away at Penestin. The large costal resorts of La Turballe and La Baule are both approximately 45 minutes drive away. 

Where and how far away are the nearest towns?

Théhillac is located mid way between Redon and renowned tourist town la Roche Bernard. Both are approximately 10 minutes drive away.

What Facilities are there in the village?

Théhillac is a small, quiet, rural village. It does have a small shop selling bread, croissants/pain au chocolat and basic supplies. There is also a bar which sells snacks/basic meals.

Where are the nearest restaurants?

The nearest restaurants are in the neighbouring villages of St Dolay and Fégréac. Both La Roche Bernard and Redon have an abundance of good quality restaurants to suit every budget.

Do you supply bed linen?

Yes, all bed linen with the exception of cot linen is provided free of charge.

Do you provide towels?

As a rule we only provide tea towels and guests are requested to bring their own personal towels. We do have a small number of towels available to rent for a nominal cost if needed. Preference will be given to guests travelling by plane.

Are your properties suitable for children?

Yes. The properties have been designed with families/children in mind. All of the gîtes have fully enclosed gardens with a lockable gate. The communal gardens are also enclosed and contain a children’s play frame with swings and a slide. The pool is also fully enclosed with a child proof gate mechanism in line with French health and safety regulations.

Do you have televisions in the gîtes?

We do not have televisions in our properties. What we do have is some of the best countryside and tourist attractions France has to offer. Each property also contains books and a CD Player/Radio.

Do the gîtes have internet access?

The gîtes do not have internet access. However, for a small fee there is internet access in the local shop which is run by our key-holder.
